Islam is the finest and overwhelming Religion. It teaches us all aspect of life. How to live how to spend it. Our prophet Muhammad e Mustafa(PBHU) is the teacher for all aspect of life. Zainab bint Khuzayma,, was married to the Prophet Muhammad e Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in Ramadan.
Soon after his marriage to Hafsa when he was fifty-six years old and she was thirty years old. After she had been complete a widow when her husband was martyred at Badr, she offered herself in marriage to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who accepted her suggestion and married her. Zainab BINT KHUZAIMA was so substantial to children and the poor that she came to be known as the ‘Mother of the Poor’. She deceased only eight months after her marriage, and although not a great deal is known around her today, there will be many who will testify to her kindness on the Last Day. She was buried with other wives of Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBHU) in Makkah jannat ul baki which is called the point of ziarat when Muslims go for hajj and Umrah via cheapest hajj package.
After the death of her husband, she touched helpless and isolated and she was in impoverished circumstances. Our beloved Prophet (PBUH) future purposed to her out of charitable reasons and his sense of duty towards her dead husband who forwent his life for the sake of Islam. She joyfully accepted the proposal and said to the Prophet (PBUH) marry you myself.
She was the most compassionate lady whose heart flooded with kindness and sympathy for the poor. She fed them and provided them alms and henceforth, was recognized as “The Mother of the Poor. Zainab, did not continue long in the Prophet's house. she passed away in the fourth year of the Hijra.
